Ciao miei tesori, da un po’ non aggiornavo la mia rubrica “cosa indossare“. Poi ho ricevuto con piacere molte richieste, soprattutto su cosa indossare ad un matrimonio estivo serale. Quindi eccomi con qualche suggerimento e idea.
Cosa evitare ad un matrimonio estivo serale
Ferma restando la regola principale, secondo la quale l’ospite non deve rubare la scena alla sposa, ci sono alcuni altri dont’s da tenere presente se si è invitate ad un matrimonio estivo serale. Meglio evitare fantasie, come fiori e stampe in generale, prediligendo la tinta unita. Ai tessuti come cotone e lino preferite stoffe più sofisticate. La lunghezza dell’abito dipende dal dress code suggerito dagli sposi: per andare sul sicuro eviterei abiti sopra al ginocchio. Sembrerà scontato, ma i cappelli sono assolutamente fuori luogo.
Proposte di outfit per un matrimonio estivo serale
Ho studiato tre proposte di outfit in base alle richieste ricevute da una ventenne glam, da una mamma in dolce attesa, e dalla testimone della sposa. Per la prima ho pensato ad un outfit oro e nero: un abito dal mood retro e una morbida pettinatura raccolta valorizzata da un cerchietto dorato, accessorio moda dalle passerelle di Dolce&Gabbana. Per la bella mamma in attesa ho scovato un delizioso abito premaman color malva. L’ho abbinato a sandali flat gioiello impreziositi da raffinate perle. Alla testimone della sposa ho suggerito un abito lungo color salvia con paillettes ton sur ton, accessori argento e un trucco sofisticato, con accenti iridescenti color pesca. Che ne pensate delle mie proposte dolcezze? Hello my treasures, I haven’t been updating my “What to wear” column for a while. Then I was happy to receive many requests, especially on what to wear to a summer night wedding. So here I am with some suggestions and ideas.
What to avoid at a summer night wedding
Without prejudice to the main rule, according to which the guest shouldn’t steal the scene to the bride, there are some others dont’s to keep in mind if you are invited to a summer night wedding. Best to avoid colourful patterns, like florals and prints in general. Choose sophisticated fabrics over “raw” cotton and linen. The length of the dress depends on the dress code suggested by the spouses: just in case I would avoid above the knee dresses. It may seem obvious, but hats are absolutely banned.
Outfit ideas for a summer night wedding
I’m showcasing three outfit ideas based on requests received from a glam girl in her twenties, from a mom-to-be, and from a bridesmaid. For the first one I thought of a gold and black outfit: a vintage inspired dress and a golden fascinator, must-have accessory from the catwalks of Dolce&Gabbana. Fot the beautiful mom-to-be I found an adorable mauve maternity dress. I styled it with flat jewel sandals embellished with fine pearls. To the bridesmaid I suggested a sage green gown with sequins in matching tones, silver accessories and a sophisticated makeup, with iridescent peach accents.
