Zashadu SS2015 “For Agnes” – Emerging designers
Hello sweethearts, do you remember when I introduced independent handbag designer Zainab Ashadu in this post? Today I’m sharing with you Zashadu SS2015 collection, named “For Agnes” after Zainab’s grandmother, who used to tell her stories while weaving loom in her homeland, Nigeria. Quoting Zashadu, this collection “seeks to explore a marriage between traditional and contemporary practices, between innocence with wisdom, between nostalgia and contentment”. I love the glamorous twist of Zashadu’s new creations, with pastel hues and metallic details spicing up and softening incredibly classy, but somehow austere designs. Trendy box clutches and foldable pouches are a new entry of Zashadu SS2015 collection, which – compared to the previous one – is closer to the current trends while keeping its signature style. Ciao cuoricini, vi ricordate quando vi ho presentato la designer emergente Zainab Ashadu in questo post? Oggi vi mostro la sua collezione PE2015, chiamata “Per Agnes” in onore della nonna di Zainab, che le raccontava storie d’altri tempi mentre tesseva nella sua terra natale, la Nigeria. Citando Zashadu, questa collezione “cerca di coniugare tradizione e modernità, innocenza e saggezza, nostalgia e appagamento.” Amo la svolta glam delle nuove creazioni di Zashadu, con dettagli metallizzati a impreziosire e tinte pastello ad ammorbidire linee incredibilmente di classe, ma se vogliamo austere. Clutch rigide e morbide buste sono new entry della collezione Zashadu SS2015, che – rispetto alla precedente – risulta più vicina ai trend contemporanei, pur mantenendo il suo stile inconfondibile. Che ne dite di queste creazioni uniche?
